Lawrence C. Vogel, M.D. was the Medical Director for 35 years of a Pediatric Spinal Cord Injury Program and is a Professor of Pediatrics at Rush Medical College. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University and an MD from University of Illinois. Dr. Vogel is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the Subspecialty of Spinal Cord Injury Medicine. He was the President of the American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA), American Paraplegia Society (APS), and Chicago Pediatric Society, as well as Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Consortium for Spinal Cord Medicine. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Topics in Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation and a Certified Life Care Planner. Dr. Vogel has authored over 170 peer-reviewed journal articles, 24 book chapters, and nearly 400 presentations or posters and 23 instructional courses at national and international meetings. Kathy Zebracki, PhD, CLCP
Kathy Zebracki, Ph.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in Pediatrics/ Rehabilitation and an Adjunct Associate Professor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University and a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Case Western Reserve University. As Chief of Psychology at a specialized children's hospital, she also oversees the clinical externship and postdoctoral fellowship programs. Dr. Zebracki is the Editor-in-Chief of Topics in Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation and an Associate Editor of Developmental Medicine and Child Neurology. She is on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM) and the American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA) and is a former board member of the Illinois Spina Bifida Association (ISBA).
